OpenAI published a case study with Sophos on October 9. The vendor says Daybreak cut investigation time from 38 minutes to 89 seconds. That is a 96 percent reduction. About 52 percent of MDR cases now run end to end with AI and human oversight. The modes are Notify, Collaborate, Authorise.1
GPT-6 October system card
OpenAI published the October system card for GPT-6. The card marks October GPT-6 as High capability in cybersecurity and biological chemical. It is not High in AI self improvement. ChatGPT gets the October models globally while Codex and ChatGPT Work stay on September versions. Regressions are noted on self harm and gore sexual content.2
Radisson ChatGPT plugin
OpenAI published a Radisson Hotels customer story on October 7. Accenture built a ChatGPT plugin in six weeks. The company says conversion was about 1.5 times organic in July to August 2026. About 54 percent of checkout and booking events were attributed to ad views. The plugin auto invokes without typing @RadissonHotels and shares an MCP server with ads.3
